Sadie Amara Calvano has become popular for her role as Violet Plunkett that she played in CBS show Mom. Calvano was born in California and initially was attracted to gymnastics. Then, she chose to be an actor. She made her screen debut in 2010 on a segment of CBS series "NCIS,". Her first big-screen appearance came one year later in the biographical crime-drama film "J Edgar'. Through the years, she's proven herself as one of the most promising actors in today's field. She was nominated in 2011 for a Young Artist Award in the category of the Best Performance by Young Actresses 11-15 for her role on NCIS. In addition, she was nominated in 2013 for an additional Young Artist Award, this time for her appearance as a guest actor in the comedy series of Disney XD "Kickin' It".
